What's On This Month

TRIP:    On 21 February we are having a picnic at Long Bay Beach in place of a coach trip. For those who have no transport please be at Torbay central bus stop between 11am and 11.30 and Josette will   take you to Long Bay. Don't forget to bring your lunch and if you wish to buy a coffee -to- go the restaurant will provide those.

Coming Soon

   For  the March trip we are going to Pine harbour for lunch at Pepperjacks Restaurant. The coach will leave Torbay at 9.55am sharp as the ferry departs from Pier 3 in the city at 10.20am and will not wait for us. Our reutrn ferry will depart from Pine Harbour at 1.40pm. Cost $25.00

Meetings

This month  we will be entertained by a group from Albany Junior High School

MONTHLY MEETINGS

COSTS

Annual Subscription:                $10.00
Door Fee:                                    $2.00
           (to cover hall hire and door prize
              - write your name in the book)
Raffles:                     3 tickets for $1.00

The first half of each meeting is devoted to general business and notices, followed by a speaker or entertainer (40 to 50 minutes). The raffles are drawn, and then we have afternoon tea. The meeting usually finishes by 3.00 pm.

Day trips are arranged, usually on the 3rd Tuesday of the month. Names are taken for these, two months ahead of the trip, and payment is made one month before. All details of trips and entertainers can be found in the branch newsletter that comes out bimonthly.
