16 of us travelled by Pacific Tour Coach leaving Wgtn at 9 am.

We stopped at Flat Hills where we had lunch and then on to Taupo.The coach driver dropped us off at the Motel Reception which was a bonus for us. Once we had registerd we Then went to mix and mingle where we all had great time. 

On Monday we went to the AGM  which was opened by our Patron Bob Futcher.  He is now 90 years old. Bob told us of the early yeas of the movement After the meeting was over the branches shared ideas of activities they do. A lot of good ideas came from this session.

The afternoon was free so many took advantage for a period of shopping.

That night we had the official dinner which was a Xmas theme.  We had Father and Mother Xmas give a gift to every one. Then we had entertainment sang some Xmas carols and dancing.

Tues we went on a launch trip to view the Maori rock carvings and have a very nice lunch on the launch.

On Wednesday we travelled home.
